these vibrant, colourful images were shot during my visit to coney island, NYC in june 2025. it was 37 Deg. c when the 43rd annual mermaid parade was held, but it didn’t stop thousands flocking to enjoy this epic event.

these B+W images were shot in Waitangi Park wellington, as over 50,000 people gathered to protest the ‘Treaty Principles Bill’

The day was memorable for the way such a large group organized themselves in a powerful, yet peaceful manner to have their voices heard. ultimately, the bill was revoked.
